Tianjin United Steel Pipe (TUSPIPE)

Since 1998, Tianjin United Steel Pipe Co., Ltd, an ERW/HFW pipe manufacturer, has been committed to supplying high-quality carbon steel pipes.

The main products are API 5L Line Pipe (PSL-1 & PSL-2), API 5CT Casing Pipe, and Tubing. And also, the company supplies slotted liner, compressor tubes, transmission shaft tubes, torque tubes, piling pipes, sprinkler pipes, boiler pipes, roller pipes and etc. Production standards include API SPEC 5CT, API SPEC 5L, JIS G 3444, JIS G 3452, ASTM A53/A53M, ASTM A135, ASTM A252, ASTM A500, ASTM A795, AS/NZS 1163, AS/NZS 1074, AS/NZS 1396, EN 10217, EN 10219, EN 10255, UL 852, FM 1630, GB/T 9711, GB/T 3091, GB/T 13793, GB/T 19830, YB/T 5209, and SY/T 5768.

With over 500,000 tons annual production capacity, the company serves various fields and industries, such as oil & gas exploitation and transmission, ship & auto-building, water & electricity, environmental protection, mechanical engineering, infrastructure construction and etc.

TUSPIPE places a premium on product quality and rigorous product quality control. In order to maintain good product quality, the company has established a Test & Inspection Center since 2004. With a series of state-of-the-art tests and inspection equipment, the test & inspection center is able to perform the tensile tests, hydro tests, impact tests, DWTT, etc.

The laboratory has passed the assessment of the China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment and successfully obtained the CNAS laboratory certification. The test results from the lab are recognized by 35 management system accreditation institutions and 54 laboratory accreditation institutions from other countries, which fully illustrated the authority of the inspection activities. So far, the company has successively obtained the qualification honors of “Enterprise Technology Center” and “Key Laboratory of Welded Steel Pipe”, and also the “Key Technology Research and Development Center” cultivated by Tianjin Municipality.

The company also pays close attention to quality and safety management and we already obtained the certificates of ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environment Management System, and BS OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. And also, the production certificates include API certificate, UL certificate, JIS certificate, and the manufacturing license of pressure pipeline.

HISTORY OF TUSPIPE

1998

Zhongyi Steel was founded in 1998, which is the predecessor of Tianjin United Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.

2004

The company was restructured and renamed to Tianjin United Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. The company made strategic adjustments and optimization during this period.

2005

The company set up a new production line for sizes from 168.3 406.4mm.

2006

Then the company started export business. More and more pipes from TUSPIPE have been sold to the overseas market.

2007

The company was granted "API 5L", "API 5CT" and "CE" certificates.

2011

The second production line was put into production in commission for smaller sizes.

2014

A national-certified academician workstation was established.

2015

Our Test & Inspection Center was certified as “The Key Lab of Welded Pipe in Tianjin”.
