API 5CT Q125
API 5CT Q125 is an API 5CT oil casing pipe grade that is commonly used in deep wells with a variety of end connections, such as non-upset ends or an external upset end. Each heat and/or batch must undergo impact testing. On this product, NDT inspections like EMI and UT are frequently necessary.
API 5CT Q125 Casing and tubing are used to ensure structural integrity to the wellbore and must withstand external collapse pressure from rock formations as well as internal yield pressure from fluid and gas. It must also be able to support its own dead weight as well as endure the torque and transaxial pressure applied to it while going downhole. Following the application of a protective coating to the tubing’s outer surface, it is marked in accordance with the API 5CT standard and strapped with a metal belt.
