Non-alloy steel tubes with exceptional room temperature characteristics are welded steel tubes for pressure applications. Applications for EN10217-1 P235TR2 welding steel pipe/steel tube include the following: 1. factory structures, bridges, football fields, and greenhouses; and 2. Free columns, pergolas, glass roofs, and other outside forms are examples of architecture. Surface coatings for P235TR2 steel pipes specified by the client include fusion bond epoxy coating, coal tar epoxy coating, 3PE, varnish coating, bitumen coating, and black oil coating.

- P235TR2 the capital letter P for pressure purposes;
- P235TR2 is the indication of the specified minimum yield strength for thicknesses less than or equal to 16mm;
- The alphanumeric TR2 for qualities with specified aluminum content, impact properties, and specific inspection and testing requirements.
