S275J0H
S275J0H
S275J0H hollow sections are manufactured with EN 10210 and EN 10219 standards. Sectional dimensions are comparable for both hot finish and cold finish hollow sections, but the features are not, so double-check before ordering. S275J0H hollow section pipes and tubes can be welded or seamless and used for a variety of applications including anti-corrosive, mechanical, and structural.
The symbol S stands for structural steel, while the number 275 represents the minimum yield strength in thicknesses no larger than 16mm.
The symbol J and the letters 0 or 2 indicate that the quality has the required impact properties at 0°C and -20°C, respectively.
Hollow parts are denoted by the capital letter H.
This type of hollow section pipe is utilized in essential applications, and it has a variety of properties. These circular pipes are manufactured and exported based on client demand, and they are coated with anti-rust oil from the inside and outside of the pipes to assure their safety before being shipped to the end-users.

Weldability of EN 10219 S275J0H Pipe
This European standard specifies weldable steel. EN 1011-1 and EN 1011-2 provide the essential specifications for welding items covered by this European standard.
The greatest concern while welding these materials is the development of cold cracking in the welded zone as the thickness, strength level, and CEV of the product increase. Cold cracking occurs as a result of the following factors:
- Enhanced diffusible hydrogen concentrations in the weld metal;
- Brittle structure in the heat-affected zone;
- High tensile stress concentrations in the welded joint
